Flags
Dvorsky's stocks everything from US and State flags to hard to find
flags of other nations, and on occasion has even provided custom
designed flags. If we don't have a flag in stock, we'll do everything
we can to find it for you!
How it all began
In the early 1960's, long before Patriotism became fashionable,
Catherine Dvorsky's husband Martin started the family's flag business.
As a World War II veteran, Martin wanted to make the Stars and Stripes
easily available to anyone. Through the years, Dvorsky's has supplied
flags for politicians, sports heroes, and even designed a special
flag for the 14th Quartermaster after the tragic Iraqi Scud attack
that killed 13 of their members and wounded 43 on February 25, 1991.
9-11-2001
In the wake of the attacks on September 11, 2001, a surge of patriotism
swept through the United States and many of the nation's citizens
began proudly displaying the American flag. Dvorsky's was there,
as it had been for over 40 years, proudly helping Americans show
the Stars and Stripes.
Dvorsky's provides free, proper and respectful
disposal of flags that are too tattered or faded to display with
pride. A sad, neglected flag makes the wrong kind of statement--in
some cases, that can be worse than displaying no flag at all! (Tip:
Many dry cleaners provide free cleaning services on Old Glory.)
